What Can I Expect During and After a Procedure?

You will be numbed prior to the procedure, and won’t even feel the injection which consists of a local anesthetic either with our without steroid, which is injected into the appropriate location – the joints or medial branch. The actual procedure is over rather quickly, and you may feel back pain improvement immediately after the injection. If a steroid was used it will take a few days to take effect which peaks to full effect in about two weeks.
