Daniel is originally a Virginia native who lived in Europe for the majority of his adolescent life due to family US government employment. Upon return to the United States, Daniel found roots in Georgia for the last 20 years where he was a graduate of Georgia College & State University with a BS in Kinesiology/Athletic Training (ATC). Daniel also holds specialty certifications in ergonomics (CEAS), concussion assessments and treatments (ITAT), performance enhancement (PES), and is currently in the process of earning a certification in the Neuromuscular Activation method (CNP).
Upon college graduation, Daniel began his professional career as a clinical ATC for Resurgens Orthopaedics, which is the largest Orthopaedic practice in the southeastern United States, and also worked as an on-the-field Athletic Trainer for local high school athletic teams during competition. After nearly 10 years in this role, Daniel moved on to advance himself in the medical sales arena, where within 2 years he was promoted to a regional sales director role for ortho biologics and stem cell products. This eventually led to the creation of his own LLC which carries 2 distinctions: medical product sales and specialty therapeutic services.
“During my first decade as a healthcare provider, I began to realize the world of physical therapy and sports medicine was taking on a quantity over quality persona. High quantities of patients became the standard due to cuts in insurance reimbursements; all the while, requirements of customer service quality stayed high. Patients deserved more than being a number and a time slot. Developing other ways to focus on the quality of patient care and total rehabilitation following injuries has become the goal and mission of my professional venture. Offering patients access to the top regenerative medicine practices and therapeutic activities without sacrificing quality; while enhancing the rehabilitation experience and facilitating a healthy return to play, return to sport, and return to life.”
All paths eventually led to the establishment of a relationship with ActivCore and ultimately to Daniel’s current position as the owner and director of ActivCore Orlando at Lake Nona.
